Edwards leaves Essex staring at huge defeat

Somerset versus Kent, Taunton 

Wickets kept on falling by the bucketload in Taunton, with 15 wickets falling on Day 3. Kent's thin lead after they were bowled out for 209 in answer to Somerset's 171 could turn out to be definitive as they diminished the home side to 171/7 by Stumps.

Nottinghamshire versus Yorkshire, Nottingham
