Tottenham Hotspur Stadium opening LIVE!

David Lammy says he had a 'robust' conversation with Daniel Levy when the Tottenham chairman declared an interest in moving Spurs into the London Stadium a few years back.

Lammy is glad that's all behind them and says it's amazing what Levy has achieved with the new stadium.

The Labour MP said: "Spurs leaving Tottenham would have been a massive, massive blow to the community, so I’m glad we’ve got that behind us.

"It’s been a long road and I have to say all credit to Daniel Levy and the directors for driving this through and making this happen particularly out of an economic recession and the downturn to make it happen. It’s a huge, fantastic achievement"
